What’s the difference between media direct response marketing and branding? Today I wanted to spend a little bit more time showing you what you need to understand for media direct response marketing.
With general direct response marketing there are two elements. There is the psychological component of your sales and marketing, and then there’s the numbers. With the psychological component we need to get inside our customers’ heads. We need to understand how they think, and as you listen to the great copywriters like Mal Emery and Dan Kennedy, they will tell you that you need to understand what your customers’ fears, desires, and emotions are. So the key is the more you understand about your customers’ frustrations and wants and desires, the easier it is for you to sell your product to them, giving you the money you want to enjoy your life.
