I had a lot of questions sent to me about the 7 Top CRM programs for Australian Business post, where I revealed my top recommendations on the best CRM software that I have seen for Australian Small to Medium Business.
Well, I had a lot of big questions sent to me and there were 2 particular questions that a lot of people asked so I want to give everyone the shortcut answers to get you started quickly.
The 2 questions were:
1. How Does CRM System Make You Money?
A good CRM System helps you build a profitable relationship with your customers in a meaningful way. And I’m sorry to say that most software programs I see do not fully understand how this should be done. So I have found a video to show you what a CRM system (Customer database) should do for you. 2. What Client Database Does Crocodile Marketing use?
Well this is going let the cat out of the bag and reveal to lot of people all the work I have done over the past five years. You see, I am a computer guy with a lot of sales and marketing knowledge and I have spend the last 7 years playing and testing with a lot of strategies, some have failed but some have also worked for me.
The big lesson I have learnt is – ‘Don’t make it complex’. I see so many people creating these complex strategies when most of the time the simple solution works the best.
The programs I use for my business are MYOB accounting software and ACT! by Sage. With the right tools and systems these 2 software programs allow me to do all the email broadcasts, email auto-responders, customer surveys, direct mail outs, fax broadcasting, sms broadcasting, telemarketing, customers and quote follow-up, birthday tracking, old customer re-activation, customer referral marketing and social network tracking including the tracking of Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter.
Plus the invoicing, sales , employee payroll and all the accounting I need. Plus there are a lot of things these programs do for me that I can not tell you about here in the blog.
Again, please remember that I have personally spent years developing these sales and marketing strategies and systems, and the best part is that I got whole system going for around $2000 using my shortcuts and I do not need to keep paying big monthly fees.
