Imagine Brooke, the owner of a women’s fashion retail store in the inner city, opening her shop early on a Tuesday morning. As Brooke opens the shop’s front door to the cool autumn weather, standing there are two professional women, one sipping on a Cappuccino while reading an article on her iPhone, while the other woman is busy typing on her Blackberry mobile phone. You’re thinking that this can’t happen or it’s not even possible right?!!
Well, two years ago I would have agreed with you! But it is happening right now and email sales marketing is the foundation for you to cash in on the trend. Right now high-income earners are reading their emails on their iPhone or Blackberry while they travel to work.
Lets see more about the latest trends:
• In 2010, 13.4% of mobile subscribers used the Web via a mobile device at least monthly – eMarketer (2010)
• 75% of daily social media users said email is the best way for companies to communicate with them, compared to 65% of all email users – MarketingSherpa (2010)
• 49% of Twitter users said they made an online purchase because of an email, compared to 33% of all email users – MarketingSherpa (2010)
This is why you need to be using email sales marketing as part of your sales and marketing strategy. So now I’m also going to show you a big Crocodile Shortcut that combines Email Sales Marketing and SEO sales marketing together that will save you many, many hours of work.
But first let’s recap on Part 1 of the Email Newsletter Traffic Blueprint. I explained how to write your email newsletter articles that will get your clients to act now using the PSSA article writing formula. To read Part 1 click HERE.
Now, How to Get Your Message out …
Step 1 – The first step is put the article on your website or blog. (We call this step ‘Posting your article to your website or blog’)
Remember to make the article search engine friendly for Google and Bing so they will rank your article higher. I strongly recommend you use WordPress software (http://wordpress.org). I use the WordPress plug-in called “All-in-one-SEO” for our website.
Plus here are 6 hot tips for you to help you get better ranking on the search engines:
1. Include your keywords in the url of your articles
2. Include keywords in the title of the article you are posting
3. Use the keywords phrases a few time in the article (remember not to over do it by repeating the keywords hundreds of times)
4. Include the keywords in meta tag fields using the WordPress Plug-in called “All in One SEO”.
5. Allow people to comment on your blog posts and delete any spam comments.
6. Lastly include your keywords for the articles in the WordPress function called “Tags”
Step 2 – Place ads around the articles so people can see your product and service. I recommend placing ads in the top right corner, down the right side of the web page, and at the bottom of the article.
I would suggest your offer includes the of the following:
• To join your email newsletter,
• To request a free information pack or free appointment or
• To purchase a product/service online (this is optional)
Step 3 – Tell Search engines that you are posting a new article. (The tech jargon for this called “ping the search engines”) The good thing about WordPress is that it does this automatically when you post a new article.

Thanks, I was looking for something along the lines of this. What would you say would be the most effective way of marketing online (apart from) emailing, because that’s a given.
Beside email, I believe it is Seach engine ranking and PPC. There are many others but you need to getting the basic done first.
